Luzerne Lake City Park

Highway 189 Bypass
Greenville, KY 42345

Luzerne LakeLuzerne Lake City Park is the city’s latest edition to its park system, being deemed such and developed during the 2013-2014 calendar year. This pristine 52-acre lake is located on the west side of the Highway 189 Bypass just south of the Highway 601 intersection on the west side of Greenville. Under construction is a large picnic pavilion, parking lot and 2-mile walking trail around the perimeter of the lake. Once finished, one will encounter three footbridges spanning over water inlets and a relaxing water feature near the pavilion. Numerous wildlife can be viewed within the park, including waterfowl, song birds and 2 Bald Eagles, who have decided to call Luzerne Lake “home”! Paddle boats as well as trolling motor boats are allowed on the lake if anyone wants to “go fishing.” This is the only park within the county to feature a large lake and the amenities usually associated with a park. Come, see and experience a little outdoor fun!
