On July 23rd, Greenville will honor Muhlenberg County’s most famous sons, Phil and Don Everly. “Now & Foreverly”, composed of singer/songwriters Jeff Boyet and Matt Newton, is set to pay tribute to one of history’s greatest-ever duos. Jeff and Matt’s journey of reproducing Everly Brothers music began in 1997 when landing the coveted lead roles of Phil and Don in “Bye Bye Love: The Everly Brothers Musical.” The musical was performed at the famous Ryman Auditorium as part of the Grand Ole Opry and their sibling-like harmony was uncannily close to the original. Following the death of Phil Everly in 2013, Jeff and Matt reunited for the first time in 10+ years to pay homage to two of music’s most prolific pioneers. From that reunion, “Now & Foreverly” was born. They now tour throughout the country bringing the songs and music of the Everly Borthers to a new generation.
